A well-established organization based in Sandton, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its finance function at executive level. This role will form part of the Board of Directors, contributing to strategic decision-making while ensuring financial integrity, performance, and sustainability across the business.
This position is suited to a confident and experienced finance executive who can balance strategic leadership with hands-on oversight in a dynamic, operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive leadership over the full finance function, including governance, reporting, and compliance
- Contribute at Board level, supporting strategic decision-making and business direction
- Develop and implement financial strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Oversee annual financial statements, audits, and IFRS compliance
- Manage cash flow, funding, and capital allocation
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Ensure strong risk management frameworks and financial controls
- Engage with external stakeholders, including auditors, financiers, and regulatory bodies
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CA(SA) qualification (essential)
- Minimum 8+ years’ post-articles experience
- Proven experience with at least 3+ years at Board of Directors level
- Strong background within manufacturing, production, or services industries
- Advanced technical expertise in IFRS, reporting, and financial governance
- Demonstrated ability to operate at executive and strategic level
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving business performance
