Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Test batteries, alternators, starter motors and electrical circuits.
- Repair and replace wiring and electrical components.
- Conduct diagnostic testing.
- Install electrical accessories and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed.
- Ensure all work complies with company safety and quality standards.
- Assist with breakdowns and emergency repairs when required.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Auto Electrical Trade Test Certificate / Red Seal.
- Minimum 5+ years' relevant post-trade experience.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Experience in vehicle electrical fault-finding and diagnostics.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams.
- Experience with diagnostic equipment.
- Good knowledge of 12V and 24V electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Advantageous
- Commercial vehicle/truck experience.
- Auto electrical accessory installations.
- Mechanical or hydraulic knowledge.
