About the Role
An established organisation is looking to appoint a committed and proactive Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, working independently, and supporting operational teams with accurate and meaningful financial information.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full finance function end-to-end
- Oversee general accounting processes
- Handle debtors and creditors functions
- Support and manage billing processes
- Prepare and monitor cash flow reporting
- Process journals and perform reconciliations
- Work closely with operational teams to provide financial support
- Utilise ERP systems for financial management and reporting
Requirements- BCom in Accounting or related qualification, or completed SAICA/SAIPA articles
- 4–5 years’ experience for BCom graduates, or 1–2 years post-articles experience
- Exposure to the property industry (advantageous)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes
- Experience with ERP systems
- Familiarity with SAGE or NRI (beneficial, not essential)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
