ENVIRONMENT:
A dynamic Education Specialist seeks an ambitious Junior Data Analyst/Engineer to join its team. You will design and develop ETL/ELT processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), stored procedures, and scripts while building and maintaining data warehouses and data marts. The ideal candidate must have graduated with a suitable IT Degree and have experience 1-3 years suitable work experience including Data Analyis, modelling, surfacing, Data Cleaning/Integrity Checking, creating reports utilising Excel or equivalent and have proficiency with SQL, SSIS, QlikView, Power BI & Tableau.
DUTIES:
- Design and develop ETL/ELT processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), stored procedures, and scripts.
- Build and maintain data warehouses and data marts.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy across all systems.
- Perform complex data transformations and optimizations.
- Support reporting teams with high-performance queries.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Assist in database design, modeling, and tuning.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications -- Graduate
- Relevant IT Degree.
Experience/Skills –- 1-3 Years relevant experience.
- Data Analysis, modelling and surfacing.
- Data Cleaning / Integrity Checking.
- SQL, SSIS, database scripting (stored procedures, user defined functions, queries, triggers).
- Present information using data visualization techniques (such as QlikView, Power BI and Tableau).
- Experience of creating reports using Excel or equivalent.
