Responsibilities:
- Design of civil services for municipal, commercial and industrial developments, including preparation of relevant documentation, and contract administration/monitoring
- Produce technical deliverables for the design and implementation of roads, stormwater services, sewer services, water services, ducting services and bulk earthworks
- Prepare Bills of Quantities and technical project specifications in line with the relevant SANS codes
- Conducting site inspections and leading site meetings
- Prepare as-built drawings and close-out reports
- Develop innovative and cost-effective solutions to problems/challenges in
- Interaction with Clients
Requirements:
- Eng or B. Tech in Civil Engineering (Non-negotiable)
- Must be registered as a Professional Engineering Engineer or Technologist or eligible to register within the next 12 months
- Minimum 5-10 years with specific Municipal Infrastructure Design and Building Environment experience a pre-requisite
- Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects
- Competent with Civil Designer and AutoCAD
- Good communication and people skills
