We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer to join a high-impact cloud transformation programme, where you’ll work hands-on with hyperscaler environments, modern DevOps practices, and cutting-edge LLM hosting and runtime platforms.
This role offers the opportunity to design, build, and operate cloud-native solutions that power critical business capabilities—working closely with business, IT, and technology partners in a fast-paced, forward-looking environment.
RequirementsWhat You’ll Be Doing
As a Cloud Engineer, you will:
- Assess existing technology landscapes and contribute to cloud transformation initiatives
- Design, implement, and optimise cloud architectures before, during, and after migration
- Build, deploy, and maintain cloud-native systems and services
- Manage cloud governance, cost optimisation, and operational efficiency
- Operate and support cloud databases and platforms
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices and controls
- Monitor, manage, and optimise cloud resources for performance, resilience, and scalability
- Support LLM hosting, runtime environments, and operations
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
What We’re Looking For (Must-Have)
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud operations
- Hands-on experience with cloud hosting and cloud-native architectures
- Proficiency in Python and/or Java
- Solid working knowledge of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Practical experience with DevOps pipelines and practices
- Exposure to LLM hosting, deployment, or operations
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
Nice-to-Have (Bonus Skills)
- Ruby on Rails
- Kubernetes & Docker containerisation
- Experience with GPU-based workloads (e.g. Nvidia H200)
- Azure DevOps
- Azure Cosmos DB
- Advanced cloud automation and orchestration
Screening Focus
We’ll be prioritising candidates with:
- Hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Demonstrated DevOps exposure
- Strong programming capability (Python / Java)
- A solid grasp of cloud infrastructure and operations
