An independent primary school is appointing a Natural Sciences and Technology teacher for Grades 4 to 7, starting January 2027 as it grows its prep school.
You teach Natural Sciences and Technology across the Intermediate Phase and Natural Sciences into Grade 7, in a school built around technology, project work and enquiry rather than the textbook. There is a dedicated space for practical work, and the teaching is hands-on by design.
You will need a B.Ed or PGCE with an Intermediate and Senior Phase specialisation - the Senior Phase half is what allows you to take Grade 7 - together with SACE registration and CAPS teaching experience in Natural Sciences. Having already taught Grade 7 is preferred and not required. Coding and Robotics is an advantage.
The advertised band is total cost to company and includes a 13th cheque and a provident fund contribution. Where you sit in it is negotiable on your teaching experience.
