Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Artwork Layout Specialist to join a fast-paced creative and production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate, print-ready artwork while ensuring layouts meet branding requirements and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate layouts aligned with client corporate identity and product branding requirements.
- Size, scale and position artwork correctly according to specific branding methods.
- Complete artwork within the required 2-hour SLA, unless otherwise communicated.
- Perform final quality checks on alignment, scaling, proportions and file readiness.
- Convert and clean client logos while maintaining brand colours and visual integrity.
- Prepare artwork according to resolution, bleed, safe-zone and other production requirements.
- Identify and escalate potential branding or production challenges before client approval.
- Convert and optimise files for print and digital requirements.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and work towards agreed KPI targets.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively within a high-volume environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- National Diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in CorelDRAW.
- Adobe Creative Suite knowledge will be advantageous.
- Understanding of corporate branding and artwork approval processes.
- Knowledge of print and production processes, colour modes, vector and raster artwork.
- Familiarity with line drawings and product templates.
- Experience checking and converting file formats.
- Ability to prepare print-ready artwork.
