Our client is looking for an experienced Unit Manager to lead a specialised Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The successful candidate will provide strong clinical and operational leadership while ensuring safe, high-quality care for critically ill cardiac patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the CICU.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team.
- Monitor patient outcomes and quality indicators.
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resources.
- Drive patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance standards.
- Mentor and develop nursing staff.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary cardiac care team.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current SANC registration.
- Critical Care qualification essential.
- Cardiac ICU/CICU experience advantageous.
- Previous Unit Management or leadership experience.
- Strong clinical governance knowledge.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
