Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operating theatres, equipment, and instruments for procedures.
- Scrub for a range of surgical procedures.
- Maintain strict aseptic and infection prevention standards.
- Assist the surgical team throughout procedures.
- Ensure appropriate surgical instruments and equipment are available.
- Maintain accurate documentation and theatre records.
- Promote patient safety throughout the perioperative process.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current SANC registration.
- Previous Scrub Nursing experience essential.
- Theatre qualification advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and theatre protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
