An established transport and logistics organisation is seeking a highly experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimise its operational functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead transport and logistics operations to achieve operational excellence
- Drive productivity, fleet utilisation, cost control and profitability
- Manage operational budgets and performance targets
- Ensure compliance with SHEQ, ISO, RTMS and legislative requirements
- Lead operational teams and drive accountability across the business
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and service delivery standards
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Transport or Business Management
- 5-10 years' operational leadership experience within Transport & Logistics
- Senior management experience within a transport or logistics environment
- Exposure to Mining, FMCG, Construction or related logistics sectors
- Strong financial, operational and people management skills
- Advanced MS Office proficiency
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
