The main purpose of this position is to develop, maintain and facilitate the implementation of the incident management and response governance processes, frameworks and standards.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Research, develop, review and maintain the company Group Incident Management Centre (GIMC) framework to ensure a consistent, unified and aligned company business incident response and management structure.
- Develop, review and maintain the standards and procedures to provide the guiding principles on the set up of incident response and management processes.
- Coordinate and facilitate the development and review of incident management and response governance processes across the company Group.
- Provide expert guidance in relation to incident management governance processes to all business areas for the company group.
- Facilitate the implementation of incident management governance processes within the company Group.
- Engage with stakeholders across the company Group to provide guidance and support during an incident and assess against the guiding principles.
- Liaise with industry experts and conduct ongoing research into leading incident management best practices and ensure that all relevant areas are incorporated in the relevant company policies, standards, frameworks and procedures.
- Analyse company Group incident response and management information and provide reports to multiple departmental structures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS To be considered for this position, candidates must be in possession of:
- An Honours degree in Security Risk Management, Information Security Management or an equivalent/related NQF 8 qualification;
- 8–10 years’ experience in a security governance environment, with specific emphasis on incident management and response;
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, security risk and compliance management, industry best practice and stakeholder engagement.
