We are seeking an Accountant with strong technical foundations and the ability to work confidently across day-to-day accounting functions. The role offers exposure to end-to-end accounting and is well suited to someone who enjoys accuracy, structure, and ownership of their work.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records.
Processing journals and performing balance sheet reconciliations.
Managing monthly reporting and supporting year-end processes.
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Supporting the finance team with ad hoc accounting requirements.
Job experience and skills required:
Education
BCom degree (SAIPA / SAICA / CIMA)
Experience
Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification accounting experience
Skills
Pastel (non-negotiable).
Xero (preferred).
Strong reconciliation and reporting capabilities.
Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
