A leading industrial services and waste management company is looking for an experienced Mid-Level HR Manager with strong experience in HR operations, industrial relations, and employee relations to join their team in Durban. This role requires a hands-on professional who can effectively manage HR and IR matters, build strong relationships with staff, unions, and management, and support the business in maintaining a positive and compliant work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations across the KZN region
- Handle industrial relations matters, including disciplinary processes and grievances
- Represent the company at CCMA where required
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, unions, and management
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation and company policies
- Provide guidance and support to management on HR-related matters
- Assist with implementing HR strategies and initiatives
- Support training and development processes where required
Requirements:- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HR Manager or HR Officer
- Proven experience in HR and Industrial Relations
- Exposure to CCMA representation is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
- Ability to work independently and handle urgent requirements
