Your Role:
As General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the strategic, operational, and commercial performance of the theatre. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure the venue delivers exceptional experiences for both audiences and performers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all theatre operations, ensuring world-class service delivery
- Develop and implement a sustainable business strategy
- Drive revenue growth through innovative programming and partnerships
- Oversee facilities, infrastructure, and technical operations
- Build and maintain relationships with artists, promoters, and stakeholders
- Deliver impactful marketing initiatives to grow audiences

Job Requirements:
- Degree in Management (NQF 7)
- 10+ years' experience in senior management / general management roles
- Strong operational leadership and business management skills
- Proven ability to drive revenue and manage budgets
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work under pressure and lead in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in arts, entertainment, events, or public sector environments advantageous
