This large, successful, and well-known Import and Distribution Company, requires a pivotal Member of their Finance Team - the Creditors Manager! You will lead a Team of 5, who will need strong mentorship and guidance to meet all their strict deadlines and to keep their Books clean. You will be doing both Local and Forex Payments, ensuring accuracy, deadlines are met, and compliance across all Creditors Functions.
You will also be expected to update all Policies and Procedures, as required, in order to ensure a seamless, quick process and ensuring all Risk Mitigation.
This role demands a high-energy Individual, who thrives under pressure and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities amongst others:

Vendor Management and Credit Applications

Oversee the Full Vendor Onboarding and Credit Application Process, ensuring thorough due diligence, correct documentation and compliance

VAT Compliance and Tax accuracy

Ensure the correct VAT Treatment of all Transactions, including Cross-border Payments, Capital Assets and Expense Claims
Capital Assets - Account for Capital Purchases immediately, ensuring timely recognition, tagging and tracking as per Accounting Standards

Cashflow and Expense Projections

Develop and maintain Weekly Cash Projection Models and Weekly Expense Forecasts, proactively highlighting pressure points and funding needs

Assist with Annual Budgets
