Main objective of this role: The Data Capturer is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in company systems and databases. This role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to handle information confidentially and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and enter data from source documents into computer systems or databases
- Verify accuracy of data before and after entry
- Update, correct, and maintain existing records
- Perform regular data quality checks and identify errors
- Organize and file source documents (physical or digital)
- Generate basic reports when required
- Adhere to data protection and confidentiality policies
- Meet daily or weekly data capture targets and deadlines
- Communicate with supervisors regarding discrepancies or missing information
