An established accounting firm is looking for a Junior Accountant to assist with smaller audits, financial statement preparation and tax compliance for companies and individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with smaller audit engagements.
- Compile financial statements.
- Prepare and submit tax returns for individuals and companies.
- Assist with general accounting and tax-related duties.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with relevant requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Accounting or finance qualification, or currently studying towards a relevant degree.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
- Basic knowledge of auditing, financial statements and tax returns.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
