Our client in the freight forwarding industry is urgently looking to employ a imports and exports operations coordinator at their organization
Location: Chartwell, Randburg
Requirements:
- Matric / National Senior Certificate
- Minimum 3 years freight forwarding or international moving operations experience
- Imports and exports experience
- FCL, LCL, air freight and road freight experience
- End-to-end shipment file ownership and direct client contact
- CargoWise or similar freight-management system experience
- Customs entry framing / SARS EDI experience
- International household moving experience
- Freight, customs or logistics qualification
- Afrikaans proficiency
Responsibilities:
- Manage import and export shipments end to end
- Arrange bookings, collections and final deliveries
- Prepare and check shipping and customs documentation
- Proactively manage clients, carriers, agents and shipment exceptions
- Manage accruals, supplier costs, invoicing, margin and file closure
