About the Role
Lotus Way International School is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Admissions & Enrollment Executive to grow student enrolment in Lusaka.
This is a performance-based admissions sales position. The successful candidate will take personal ownership of prospective families from the first enquiry through school visit, application, follow-up and confirmed fee payment.
This is not a passive office, administrative or social-media-only role. Applicants must be comfortable with enrolment targets, direct parent engagement, field outreach, persistent follow-up and commission-linked earnings.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new parent leads through community outreach, referrals, partnerships, events, telephone calls, WhatsApp and social media.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all admissions enquiries.
- Understand each family’s needs and clearly present the school’s curriculum, facilities, fees and value proposition.
- Arrange and conduct school tours, parent meetings and follow-up conversations.
- Handle parent questions and objections confidently and work towards enrolment.
- Maintain an accurate admissions pipeline showing every lead, conversation, next action and outcome.
- Follow up consistently until the family makes a clear decision.
- Coordinate with Admissions, Finance and school leadership to resolve issues that may delay enrolment.
- Submit daily activity records and weekly reports on leads, visits, applications, conversions and confirmed enrolments.
- Achieve individual monthly and termly enrolment targets.
Performance Measures
Performance will be assessed primarily through:
- Qualified parent leads generated
- Speed and quality of enquiry response
- School visits and applications secured
- Lead-to-enrolment conversion rate
- Number of confirmed, fee-paying students
- Accuracy and completeness of admissions records
- Personal ownership and resolution of obstacles
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, business development, customer acquisition or school admissions.
- Evidence of previous targets achieved or customers successfully converted.
- School admissions or education-sector experience is an advantage.
- Confident, persuasive and professional communication with parents.
- Strong follow-up, negotiation and objection-handling skills.
- Good command of English; knowledge of commonly spoken Zambian languages is an advantage.
- Familiarity with WhatsApp, Facebook, spreadsheets and lead-tracking systems.
- Good knowledge of Lusaka communities and the ability to conduct regular field outreach.
- Self-motivated, accountable and comfortable working under measurable performance targets.
Compensation and Working Arrangement
- Base salary: K7,000 gross per month.
- Attractive, performance-based and uncapped commission on successful student enrolments.
- Strong performers can earn more than K20,000 per month in total.
- This is a flexible, field-based and results-oriented role. The successful candidate is not required to remain on campus throughout the working day, provided that admissions targets are achieved, prospective parents are followed up promptly, records are properly maintained, and all scheduled meetings, school tours and events are attended.
- Performance will be reviewed against agreed lead-generation and enrolment targets during the probation period.
Application Question
Applicants must submit a CV and briefly answer:
- What measurable sales or enrolment target have you previously achieved?
- How would you generate qualified parent leads for an international school in Lusaka?
- Are you comfortable working under a salary structure in which a significant portion of earnings depends on results?
