JUNIOR MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Management Accountant to join their Finance Team. The successful candidate will support the finance function through the preparation of management accounts, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis while contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support the preparation of cash flow forecasts and financial analyses.
- Monitor expenditure against budgets and report on variances.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide support during internal and external audits.
- Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and internal controls.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Full ACCA, CIMA, ZICA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum of 1–3 years' relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using accounting software will be an added advantage.
