School Principal
An International School is seeking an experienced, visionary, and results-oriented professional to join our team as School Principal. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, oversee the school’s operations, and promote academic excellence while fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. Open to Local and International Candidates.
Key Responsibilities
-Provide overall leadership and management of the school’s academic and administrative functions.
-Lead, motivate, and mentor teaching and non-teaching staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.
-Develop and implement effective academic and extracurricular programs that support student achievement and holistic development.
-Ensure compliance with Ministry of Education regulations, school policies, and quality assurance standards.
-Promote a culture of excellence in teaching, learning, discipline, and student welfare.
-Manage school operations, budgeting, and resource allocation efficiently and responsibly.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, the community, and education stakeholders.
-Oversee curriculum planning, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
-Handle disciplinary and conflict-resolution matters professionally and fairly.
-Stay informed on current educational trends, innovations, and best practices to enhance school performance.
Qualifications and Requirements
-Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field (Master’s Degree is an added advantage).
-Minimum of five (5) years teaching experience, with five (5) years minimum experience as a school Principal preferred.
-Valid teaching qualification/license recognized by the Ministry of Education in Zambia.
-Proven leadership and team management skills within an educational environment.
-Strong understanding of curriculum development and implementation for primary and/or secondary education.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
-Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-management abilities.
-High level of professionalism, integrity, and emotional intelligence.
-Experience with school administration systems and educational technology is an added advantage.
-Ability to foster an inclusive, collaborative, and student-centered school culture.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
