Financial Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper – Pretoria East
A well-established and expanding manufacturing and FMCG business in Pretoria East is seeking a Financial Accountant / Bookkeeper to join its finance team. This is a hands-on opportunity in a high-volume production environment, ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, responsibility, and working close to operations.
Minimum Requirements
- 2–5 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant or Bookkeeper
- Strong understanding of the full finance function
- Background in manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, transport, or other high-volume industries (advantageous)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full financial function
- Prepare and review financial reports
- Maintain general ledger accounts and reconciliations
- Process and review bank statements
- Oversee creditors and debtors
- Assist with month-end and year-end processes
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
