A Well Established company seeks a Logistics and Transport Manager In Cape Town ( Maitland)
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport, or Operations ManagementOR
- Minimum 8 - 10 years proven experience in heavy transport and construction logistics.
- 5+ years’ experience managing fleet operations.
- Experience in container, modular building, or construction logistics (highly advantageous).
- Strong knowledge of abnormal loads and route planning.
- Experience with fleet tracking systems.
- Valid driver’s license (PDP advantageous).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTransport and Fleet Management- Plan and schedule container deliveries and collections.
- Manage company fleet (trucks, trailers, cranes, forklifts) and subcontracted hauliers.
- Ensure compliance with the National Road Traffic Act and load regulations.
- Optimise routes and manage fuel consumption.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance and licensing.
