Our organization is seeking a high caliber, safety conscious Mine Shift Boss to join our operations in Ndola. This role is pivotal in overseeing our mining operations and ensuring strict adherence to statutory safety regulations.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must meet the following requirements:
- A Diploma or Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized institution.
- A valid EIZ Practicing License for the current year
- Holder of a valid Blasting License (All mining operation/Surface Mining)
- Must possess a valid silicosis certificate
- A minimum of 5 years proven experience specifically in a Shift Boss role.
- Strong understanding of fleet management, load and haul cycles, drilling and blast pattern execution.
- Strong Leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, publisher and access.
