Job Title: Engineering Draughtsperson / BIM Modeller (Senior)

Qualifications and Experience
National Diploma (NDip) in Civil Engineering or a relevant qualification
Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in the management and execution of projects
Strong people and communication skills
Experience in all types of building structures; experience in civil structures will be an added
advantage
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential
Proven experience in BIM modelling, structural drafting, and rebar detailing
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
BIM modelling and structural drafting using Revit and AutoCAD
Reinforcement detailing
- Assisting with conceptual design development and the preparation of preliminary drawings
for further refinement by engineers
Producing functional, economical, and technically correct drawings in collaboration with
engineers
- Translating specifications and designs into accurate engineering drawings ready for
construction
Preparing drawings that provide clear and unambiguous scope for execution
Contributing to the success and profitability of projects by applying sound technical skills and
efficient work practices
Calculating quantities and measurements to support the preparation of accurate schedules
Coordinating with all disciplines to ensure the production of effective and accurate
deliverables
Managing received drawings and overseeing the drawing issuance process
Reviewing incoming drawings and advising engineers and draughtspersons on required
changes
Supporting project execution through participation in site inspections and project meetings,
as required by the engineer
Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 quality management systems and applicable drawing
standards
