Position: Assistant Security Manager

Location: Lusaka

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and vigilant Assistant Security Manager to ensure the safety and security of company premises, staff, guests, and property. The successful candidate will maintain a secure environment by monitoring, patrolling, and enforcing security procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Patrol and monitor premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or theft
Control access to the facility by checking identification and authorizing entry
Monitor surveillance systems and report suspicious activity
Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies
Write and submit accurate daily security reports and incident logs
Enforce company security policies and procedures
Supervise and coordinate security guards (for Supervisor role)
Conduct inspections of security equipment and report faults
Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary

Requirements / Qualifications

Grade 12 certificate (minimum)
Security training certificate or relevant qualification (added advantage)
Proven experience in security services (at least 2–3 years preferred)
Strong observation and reporting skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Physical fitness and ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends
High level of integrity and discipline
Clean record

Added Advantage

Experience in hospitality
First Aid or Fire Safety training
Supervisory experience (for Security Supervisor role)
